Where did they fall? The Somme?
Soppy gloppy blobby nonsense, issued by a parliament, an actual real world governing body.
What on earth do they think they mean, “everyone deserves the right to be exactly who they are”? People don’t need a right to be exactly who they are, they just are who they are, exactly or otherwise. What they mean, of course, but are too dim or too evasive to say, is that they want people to have a “right” to force everyone else to agree they are exactly who they are not.
It’s sanctimonious gibberish and it’s a campaign to force the entire world to lie about who is what sex. The hell with it.
Time to honor the proud and courageous veterans of the trans cult who have made heroic sacrifices in the service of…
Their fantasies? Ambition? Attention? Misogyny? Nefarious opportunity?
Yeah right.
Bloody hell, another day of trans lobbying. Meanwhile, those that actually fell in war get …1.
Such a coincidence that it falls on the same day as Narcissist Day. Surely an oversight.
Must be one of those days ending with “y”…
So many governments are flying the trans rainbow flag, but it points out with all the trans remembrances there are no occasions for flying a flag for remembrance of such true horrors as the number of women killed by men (those killed by the police alone far outnumber any trans killed in battle,) or for the Jews killed in the holocaust, the Armenians killed by Turkey, or the Hutus killed by the Tsutsis and I could go on.
Captured by a cult.
This sort of contrived, sombre ceremoniousness helps to reinforce the idea, both amongst disphoric youth and the general population, that trans folk are uniquely vulnerable and targeted when they are not. In the Western world at least, they are amongst the safest demographics, falling well behind women in their likelihood of being targets of violent crime. This belief of perpetual, lethal trans “embattlement” is one half of the psychological pincer that is used to isolate “trans” youth and blackmail society at the same time, the other half being the widely publicized “fact” of trans suicidal ideation. It’s a clever and economical combination that works within the cult and the world at large, extracting loyalty and guilt while enforcing compliance from both members and the world at large.
Have they provided a list of the fallen? And the circumstances of their fall?
Of course not. They will just allude, in the same way that they allude to all the dozens/hundreds/thousands of trans people who are murdered for being trans (in fact trans people in the UK are less likely to be murdered than regular people)
Five people died at a Colorado Springs gay bar just before a drag show. Were any of them trans?
Colin Day: it doesn’t matter. They will demand to be front and centre at all the vigils and memorials. Elbowing their way to the front with their hideous pastel flag.
The numbers I see floating around range from 337 to 370 “trans and gender diverse” people worldwide. One graphic claimed that 95% of the total was transwomen, which the social justice types interpret as establishing a “most oppressed” category. The thing is, though, that kind of disparity suggests casual differences. As the majority of people flocking to Genderism are female, transness cannot be the primary factor here, otherwise the numbers would tilt the other way.
My understanding is that a great many of these deaths are in Brazil, and a majority of those are prostitutes.
You mean causal differences?
@Sackbut #11
Brazil had 47,000 intentional homicides in 2020. Taking 0.3% of that, one would expect 141 intentional homicides of trans people.

Colin @ 13
The point I was trying to make is that the worldwide number of trans people killed is greatly skewed by the number of murders of Brazilian transgender prostitutes. The numbers are not large even including them, but including them raises the numbers significantly. It is tragic that they are murdered, but it points out the dangers faced by prostitutes more than it does the dangers faced by trans people.
And of course TRAs also tend to be vehemently pro “sex work” so…
