The event will go ahead as planned
They’re not taking it lying down.
We are astonished that @Eventbrite has cancelled our book launch for @K_IngalaSmith's Defending Women's Spaces due to take place on 24 Nov with @bindelj, unbelievably citing violation of their policy on Hateful, Dangerous, or Violent Content! #DefendingWomensSpaces pic.twitter.com/vASyDNXJ7j

Good to hear they plan to hold the event. If it’s online, I might try to attend, if it is at a feasible time. Unfortunately, that’s another book i need to read. The list just keeps growing, even as the time I have on earth grows shorter.
Eventbrite cancelled another TERFy book launch, just a few days ago. I know about this one because I’m going to the event! It’s still going ahead and Sarah Phillimore is crowdfunding to sue Eventbrite.
She writes about it here: https://thecritic.co.uk/why-is-eventbrite-obstructing-my-book-launch/
And the crowdfunder is here: https://democracythree.org/campaign/stop-tech-censoring-women-help-me-sue-eventbrite/
If anyone is in London on 2nd/3rd December, let me know!
