“Petty” isn’t the right word
The malice and spite know no bounds. Ever.
Rachel Rooney alerted us.
Did what?? So I had to go searching.
And here’s her work:
Just looks normal, right? But the actual list has four writers.
[Update] Annoyingly, the image crops off the fourth title so it still doesn’t show.

If trans activism were really “progressive” or enlightened or rights-based its adherents wouldn’t do things like this and then brag about having done them. Trans activism is a magnet for malevolent egomaniacal bullies.
I don’t understand the narrative arc here. Does Alice S-H runs the Twitter account for the Phoenix Book Awards, and she, or he (I can’t tell from the thumbnail photograph), doctored the Tweet? Or what?
Sorry. It took me some trouble to figure it out too. I think Alice S-H is a literary agent, with no other connection to the award than that. I think she tweeted about the award because literary agents are interested in such things…or ostensibly that was why, but really it was to make a show of erasing one of the nominees. She doctored the list. The Phoenix Book Awards has/have its own Twitter account.
“You’re unable to view this Tweet because this account owner limits who can view their Tweets.”
She seems to have become shy.
I couldn’t see the doctored image deleting the last author.
I take issue with, “Am I petty enough …?”
That’s not f*ing petty. That’s major, and outrageous.
Neither ‘petty’ nor ‘procrastinating’ belong in that tweet.
Whoever ‘Alice S-H’ might be, that tweet is a perfect illustration of the meme “I use long words I don’t understand in order to sound more photosynthesis”.
lol
Sorry about the image we now can’t see because she protected her account. It just looks like the original, but with the fourth writer, Onjali Rauf, missing.
I can still see it above.
Oops, my bad. That’s the accidental cropping I can see, not the deliberate one.
Heh, it’s all confusing, sorry. Anyway the two look the same.
And of course there’s no hint of how Onjali Rauf became unclean. The witch-sniffer’s work cannot be questioned.
tigger@5,
O villain! thou wilt be condemned into everlasting redemption for this.
“And of course there’s no hint of how Onjali Rauf became unclean”
I don’t see anything in the Wikipedia article that hints at an answer.
