Not a sister
Mara Yamauchi on “Emily” Bridges:
Bridges is horrified and terrified yet women are murdered at a far higher rate than trans people are. What’s he got to be so terrified about? Does he ever pause to think about the terror of women?
Being self-obsessed is not the same thing as being self-aware. At all.
Yes he IS a man. And a lot of other things, none of them good.
They do not experience sexism in similar ways. It’s obvious they don’t, because they are so clueless. If they experience sexism, it is not because they are women, or perceived as women. It’s because they are transsing down to an inferior being, not meeting the male ideal. Men will give them trouble over that, and of course, women might give them trouble, too.
If you have gender dysphoria, or any sort of dysphoria, do like I do. Get a therapist.
If some bloke chooses to dress up as a woman and wants to use the same washroom and urinal as me, then I will give him space and not make a noise about it. But if he wants to use the same washroom as my wife, daughters and female friends, then I will report him straight away to the cops and encourage them to lay charges against him. He might find that every pissoir becomes something of a wallet (sorry, handbag) emptier and every shithouse likewise. Not to put too fine a point on it, but that’s the pointy end of it.
“There seems to be an effort at the moment to portray trans women as men who want to infiltrate women’s sports for personal gain.”
Because trans women *are* men who *are* infiltrating women’s sports for personal gain. There is no disconnect from the reality of it, as Zach well knows. The effort to bring this to light needs to increase and continue until it stops happening. If he wants a “level playing field” then he can compete against other males who PORTRAY themselves as females. Play dress up somewhere else, not in legitimate women’s sports competitions. Trans women have delegitimized every women’s sports competition they have participated in, and made them a farce. Every single woman and girl who has been subject to these males cheating has lost out because of it, not just the ones knocked off the podium — every single one. Not to mention the cowardice of the people who allow it to happen. It’s blatant cheating, but it’s also misogyny on a large scale, and more people need to understand this.
#3 reminded me of the situation of Olympic basketball. For the longest time, professionals were not allowed to compete. Once they were, very few players on the US team (and several other teams) were amateurs (usually college students). Some notable people are calling for the US basketball team to again be composed of college players, citing dominance and risk of injury, although the risk of injury they are referring to is to the expensive NBA players, not their hapless opponents.
Yeah, talk about an unlevel playing field. One NBA superstar dream team after another, dominating the competiton. Not even worth watching, but then I find that true of most professional sports anyway. The thing that gets me is how much effort these young women put into their training and how serious they take their sports, only to have some pansy grow his hair out, put on lipstick, claim some kind of “dysphoria” (which last I heard is a mental illness diagnosis), and then to have the people who run these events allow them to cheat these young women out of all that effort? The unfairness of it can’t be overstated.
(Not that I’m against pansies per se, some of them are quite nice I’m sure, but a lot of them (from a mere glance at twitter) are vile bullies.)
I have to say, “pansy” is not all that distant from “faggot.” I really don’t want epithets of that kind here.
Sorry, understood.
Thank you.
