Misogynists agree
Beardy bro wonders why there are so many more bitches in the UK than in the US and Canada. Fellow beardy bro helps him out.
Turns out it’s because…uh…we have such excellent social support for women in the US compared to the UK. Yes, sure, that’ll work.
Oh no, that’s all too kitcheny, too Mumsnetty, too of the earth earthy for them. Zack can hold a baby but he’s not going to do any of the gruntwork now is he.
Janice Turner noticed a certain…something…about this pleasant chat among beardies.
What would we do without them?
I believe Douthat is critical of transgenderism. His mention of Mumsnet may be admiring.
Lady Mondegreen is correct. Douthat is a moderate conservative who is against woke-ism and no doubt approves that mumsnet has served that role.
Iam not sure I would call Douthat.moderate in any way? He is relatively erudite and somewhat polite but he is nonetheless a reactionary religiot.
Ugh. Do I have to shave my beard now? I hate shaving.
Brian M, he’s very religious but from what I’ve seen he’s too thoughtful to qualify as reactionary.
?Ross Douthat is woke?
Yeah, woke he ain’t… though he’s just as intentionally stupid at times.
I sometimes think the UK has a more robust response to the trans movement than the US does, because the UK trans movement has had more success. Look at the laws the UK trans movement has been able to pass in their favour – the right to change their birth certificate sex, gender entered as a protected category with sex nowhere to be seen, police investigations of feminist tweets, and so on. The UK feminists have more alarm bells ringing in their ears.
His last name is pronounced “doubt that.”

Emma Hilton says “Our right is further left than your left”. I would add that our religious nutters are your averagely religious people. We notice pretty quickly that the effects of trans ideology are far more intrusive than Christmas trees in tv studios and chocolate bunnies, and we just won’t have it.
