Today our morning Murdoch News and Propaganda had a 4-page spread on a convicted meth addict and stalker. There will be more tomorrow. It seems it’s all about promoting a book.
Why so much press for a man who stalked a woman?
Easy – Dean Laidley changed his name to Danni and is now a “woman”, even though nobody seems to know what a woman is anymore.
Christine Burns used to be the vice-president of Press for Change, an organisation founded in the early nineties that promoted the demands of transgender people in the UK. Burns was a very active member and among other things ran the website. The MBE was awarded ‘for services to Gender Issues’ in the New Year’s Honours List in 2005 (p. 15). Stephen Whittle, another very active member of Press for Change, was awarded an OBE (p. 13). Both Burns and Whittle had been heavily involved in the campaign to promote the Gender Recognition Act, which passed through Parliament in 2004. Later that year I was present when Burns addressed an audience of lesbian and gay activists; from what I recall, we were sternly exhorted to do our utmost to support our poor oppressed transgender sisters and brothers.
” In a bizarre way rapists have a better line in manners. At least they treat their victims, without prejudice, as women.”
Also, all the “Fuck the TERFs” and “Fuck the SWERFs” slogans are just actually simple anti-feminism in disguise.
It’s “Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists” that’s always used, and never (say) “Trans-Exclusionary Conservatives”.
“We hate radical feminism” say the TRAs and their natal male supporters; their “cool girl” allies like Laurie Penny and Melissa Gira Grant obediently play along.

Nice bag, so kind, so inclusive. :P
I mean, where are all the F*** TRANS PEOPLE t-shirts if “transphobia” is such a thing?
Thought so.

Well that’s infuriating.

Should we quote Opheila’s piece on Burns’ grotesque ideas about womanhood? Yes, we should.

Exactly so.
