Looking good!
This is a long thread, and very disturbing. I didn’t read all of it. The Dr Gallagher is Sidhbh Gallagher, of yeet the teets.
Many horrifying tweets later:
Rylan is still vehemently pro the ideology though, still eager to call doubters terfs.
I wonder, had she quietly had this procedure done, and everything went well, and she continued to keep it private, if removing a couple of pounds on the upper torso of an obese body like hers would have made any difference anyway, when clothing choices would have accomplished much the same thing. $20K buys a lot of clothing choices. It’s not like she was going for a bikini body. Medical ‘affirmation’ is a hell of a way to get attention and ‘validation’ on “social” media (I would question how much she’s getting elsewhere (besides the ‘surgeon’ who profited off of her)), but she doesn’t appear any more mentally healthy (judging by her twitter feed) as she was before. Certainly not physically. It’s astonishing what these people are doing to themselves. It’s like self-brainwashing or something. I can’t say “social” media is entirely to blame, but it sure doesn’t help. There are sites where people can access mental health care, even find counselors to talk to, but why do that when you can take your case to twitter, start blocking unwanted commentary, and settle into your comfy filter bubble where your fantasies become malignant.
What’s also disturbing is that she continues to defend the procedure and dump on the TERFs, and her experience gave her no pause on removing breast tissue. It’s just this doctor that’s the problem, but otherwise totally normal for girls and women to remove their breasts for affirmation of their identity. Necessary, even.
Indeed.
