Listened to by a range of stakeholders
Ah so this is yer man –
He “leads to ensure Consortium stays community focussed and LGBT+ issues are listened to by a range of stakeholders…”
But that’s not true, is it. He doesn’t lead to ensure LGB issues are listened to by a range of stakeholders; very much the opposite. He’s shockingly ignorant on some of them, and shockingly hostile to some of them. He’s all about the T; he’s very much not all about the L.
Nice work if you can get it.
I find it very (very) hard to believe that he’s ignorant of these facts or the potential issues. I think that it’s much more likely that he has taken a stance, a side, and is now finding himself in an inquisitorial process where he can’t just hand wave away awkward questions, refuse to answer them, or browbeat the questioner. Rather than give answers he knows to be correct that would blow away his pre-determined stance, he pretends ignorance on such issues and sticks to opinion. It’s bad when it comes from someone who doesn’t know better, it’s reprehensible and infuriating when it comes from people who should, and almost certainly do, know better.
