Inspiring
Oh does he, does he really.
The pull-quote under “Emily” Bridges reads:
“I want to inspire people to be who they are.”
Really. How odd. How odd that he wants to do something he’s doing the opposite of in that very cover photo. If he wants to inspire people to be who they are then why not start with himself? Who he is is a man, but in that cover photo he’s pretending to be a winsome delicate young girl with seductive parted lips. (Do men ever pose like that? Passive, mouth ajar and ready?)
I wonder if there’s some way we could inspire him to be who he is (and in the process to stop ruining cycling for women).
“Diva: The Leading Magazine for LGBTQI Women and Non-Binary People”.
Looks like the poor Lesbians and Bisexual Women can’t have a publication to themselves anymore.
Let’s face it, it takes a fair bit of damn gall for someone born male, and who covets trophies in womens’ cycling events, to dress himself up as a woman and go through all the necessary histrionics and bullshit to pull such a fraud off. (Or should that be ‘jerk such a fraud off.?’ It’s a tough one.)
A faaaaaaar more heroic, adventurous and admirable course would be for him/her to enter a MEN’S race as a woman (albeit of the trans persuasion) and seek to win THAT.
But of course, being a hero, and an admirable adventurer, is not what it’s all about. The aim is to be a selfish and malicious bitch; but above all, to be not seen as such.
