If you want stilettos you’ll have to buy them
The Telegraph solemnly reports:
A non-binary senior US nuclear official has been charged with stealing a suitcase at an airport.
The owner of the suitcase however is non-non-binary. She’s not a man, even half.
Sam Brinton, 35, became the most prominent genderfluid person in the US government in June, overseeing the disposal of nuclear waste.
He’s a man non-binary as opposed to a woman non-binary.
The appointment of the MIT graduate, who uses the pronouns “they” and “them”, was hailed at the time by diversity campaigners.
By laughably credulous “diversity campaigners.” A pale man who calls himself “them” and has a high-up government job is not much of a blow for diversity.
When Brinton took up the post in June they tweeted a picture from their office wearing Stars and Stripes stilettos.
They wrote: “As one of if not the very first openly genderfluid individuals in federal government leadership, I was welcomed with open arms into the Department of Energy.”
Not one of the very first self-obsessed goons though.
Is there anything else that screams “non binary” like a man wearing Stilletos?
Did NB/he/they steal the suitcase to get the stilettos?
@2 there was a long and somewhat interesting thread about this on Ovarit:

Suspect he stole the bag for the reasons you’d expect.
But he doesn’t, does he? At least, not about himself. He demands that others use them.
More obfuscating language, hiding what’s going on.
Non-binary genderfluid, so sometimes he’s a man non-binary and sometimes he’s a woman non-binary. This is science, and you can tell because he works in science. But I’m curious about how he targeted that specific suitcase, how would he know what the contents are, or that it belonged to a woman who would have the type of clothes that turn him on to wear.
Christ, that first photo at the Telegraph article actually made me flinch. Pennywise without the wig and only half his makeup on.
How does “they” know it was a woman’s suitcase? Surely, “they” didn’t just assume someone’s sex or gender? “They” didn’t ask for pronouns; “they” couldn’t know just by looking, could “they”?
From the Ovarit link that guest shared, it’s been reported that the brand of luggage is one that is sold to women and has a flowery design; so it’s probably safe to assume that’s how he knew.
It is puzzling that someone with that obvious level of solipsism could ever pass a security clearance. All it would take is proof of one prior incident to fall into the hands of the wrong people, and nuclear secrets are compromised.
“…who uses the pronouns “they” and “them”… “
Shouldn’t Brinton also use “we” and “our” to refer to themselves, like a medieval monarch?
The horrible GOP are going to lap this scandal up.
Yes they are, which is so ironic because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING left-wing about any of it.
It turns out that by subscribing to a substack writer, I have a substack. The whole “left – right” interface with this trans issue may be a topic for my first post. I’m a better procrastinator than a regular writer, so I may not get to it tonight, but I will try.
Keep us posted!
@12 yes please, I’d be interested in your expressed thoughts on this as well.
Why would a person with a successful and high profile job, presumably well paid, steal luggage? Clearly not a well person thinking rationally. Best removed from his sensitive role in that case.
Rob @15
Some autogynephiles are aroused by wearing underwear women have worn. The actual articles, I mean, not the same brand.
Was the woman he stole from returning from somewhere? He probably hoped to find used, unwashed underpants in her suitcase.
Like, I said, clearly not a well person. Kink is one thing, lacking the impulse control to commit a crime in pursuit of your kink is another entirely.
