Yeah, I got mine too. I’m looking forward to reading the column. (Spent too much time this week looking for a missing puppy; he got out of the yard TWICE! Didn’t get much reading done.)
You have a puppy?! Felicitations!
Yes, he’s quite adorable, but an adventurer. Fortunately, he only went over to our neighbor’s house; after she took him in the first time, and he played with her kids and her dogs, he decided to make another trip there when we were away for a little while. He’s a Welsh terrier. 7 weeks old.
Just got an 8-week old schnoodle ourselves. No escapes yet, but she can calmly walk through the gap between the fence and the edge of the gate, so we’ll have to pay close attention until she gets a bit, uh, wider. Aside from encounters with her needle-sharp teeth, we’re really enjoying her company. Climate change, fascism, gender madness… look, a puppy!
My big cuddly tomcat Ryo and I send congratulations. Feline or canid, a furry tetrapod is a joy.
Oh those needle-sharp puppy teeth. I literally dream about them when I’ve been around them a lot.
Yes, I have two band-aids on my arm now just from this evening. I’ll be glad when he outgrows this stage.
Ah puppies. 100% cute + 100% bitey!
Plus their baby teeth really are like big needles. The tiniest nip is painful.
