Anime positivity
Meanwhile –
A surprise? Why? It’s women they hate.
“Cute” characters who don’t suggest trans people in any way, thus promoting the happy-clappy fiction that trans people just need to be Who They Really Are (which is a cute anime character).
“My theoretical kids” because you don’t have kids and never will, because you cut off your penis in order to be a Cat Girl?
Temporarily setting the merits aside, one is going to get a much more positive response from the police if you cooperate with them. If you try to flee and run over one of their feet in the process, you’re not going to get a great response.
In theory it shouldn’t matter, and it shouldn’t bias them against your case, and they shouldn’t hold you longer than necessary, and they shouldn’t confiscate stuff as evidence for no good reason, etc., but in reality like most humans police can be petty jerks if you get on their bad side.
Long term may be another story. Hopefully these police broke some laws during their collective temper tantrum and will pay a price for it.
Well, yes, up to a point. She sounded quite sheepish about the fleeing bit in the interview with Vigo. But. On the other hand. One, the police are in a position of power over us, so they really shouldn’t abuse that power even if they get in a snit. Two, surely they’re trained how to keep their tempers when a suspect fails to cooperate. Three, she’s a woman in her 50s in a mobility scooter – surely some inhibitions should kick in. Four, they had 12 fucking hours to calm down. Five, they dropped a heavy hand on her shoulder for no good reason in the first place. Add it all up and I don’t see much mitigation.
I probably needn’t point this out but those really in to “cute cat girls” are generally considered sweaty, gross “otaku” and that has only ever been something that occidentals have used as a positive term.
