Why won’t they stand up for voting rights?
If it’s not a felony, the arrest is facially unconstitutional.
Here's my major question. A magistrate judge in Fulton County apparently found probable cause to believe that this would be Rep. Cannon's third conviction for disrupting the General Assembly.
Is that true?
And if not, will there be false statement charges brought? pic.twitter.com/WbwwcPAO5P

Here's the punishment part of the code section. If it's not a felony, the arrest is facially unconstitutional.
This is something that someone needs to investigate. https://t.co/Frl3BR2hbf pic.twitter.com/z9xt6ab19I

Oddly enough, I don't see any prior arrests for Rep. Park for interference with the General Assembly.
The judge and the officer swearing to the judge that this was her third offense would have access to this database.

They roughly grabbed her arm a couple of weeks ago while she was peacefully protesting this BS.https://t.co/7BYUBlIjY0

I’m gonna straight-up cater the voting lines in the next GA election. Who wants to help with the prep?

H/t Rob
Coming from a country where all political parties have embraced making voting easy, largely depoliticising electoral shapes via an independent commission and accepting that el cations must be competed based on ideas and policy, I find all this both bewildering, disgusting, and infuriating. It’s not that we have everything perfect by any means, but nothing like this sort of crap goes on.
Also, Mollie Katzen! I was given two of her cookbooks in 1988.
Re #1, “Mollie Katzen!”
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. My ex and I had two of her cookbooks at about the same time you did. Great stuff. If she’s serious, maybe I’d drive a couple of hours east to help with the prep.
