As I noted on one of the threads about keeping men and boys out of women’s and girl’s teams, cheating works best when you’re the first and only one doing it. Once everyone else is cheating too, you lose that initial advantage.
Compare this: “This is a man talking about how calming and enchanting it is to have a swimming place just for women, away from unwanted male attention and the male gaze.”
Oh no, posthumous misgendering! Too late to cause suicide in you, but maybe it will cause suicide in your surviving relatives? “My bro– I mean, sister is a woman! Always has been a woman! But the death certificate says ‘male’. I’m going to have to commit suicide now!”
Posthumous misgendering? Like referring to drag queens involved in the early gay rights movement as female, despite their own statements asserting they were male, and the fact that they called themselves transvestites? Like transing women who took male pseudonyms or personas to survive in a misogynist patriarchal world? Like transing women who did nothing more than wear short hair and take on aggressive leadership roles, but who never in the least way pretended to be male? THAT posthumous misgendering?
Didn’t you see the big ONE WAY sign when you turned on to Trans Avenue? Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
