I hope they put Lia in the Olympics. It might help peak more people to see this dude chilling at the end of that nice big pool while the ladies he competes with do more laps to catch up.
“Evil crap” describes this so well. I think we should start using “this Evil Crap™” to mean “men playing in women’s sports” — though obviously only within our limited circle, since outsiders wouldn’t understand, anyway.

The IOC’s punt on rules drove us backwards, not forwards. I expect that Paris 2024 will have more dudes competing in women’s events than ever before.
I see a vague possibility of progress between Paris 2024 and LA 2028, but the TRAs are not going to go quietly.
