Staggered
What a display.
The vastly condescending James Max tells Kellie-Jay that “somebody can be born in somebody else’s body” and two minutes later that “you can never be in the brain and body of somebody else.” Well which is it?
He reminds me of Jolyon. The smugness twins.
“…somebody can be born in somebody else’s body” – who’s body is a trans person born in, if not their own? Amazing magical thinking.
Oh and then the later complaint of ‘men were told men-only spaces were discriminatory’, my fucking god. Yes, men-only executive positions in a company, men-only government positions, men-only country clubs and so on are discriminatory for reasons that are not about safety but rather are about hoarding power, wealth, influence. That difference in underlying justification means they are fundamentally unlike single sex spaces such as dressing rooms.
@2 I didn’t listen to the interview, but I get the gist…I would think the appropriate answer would be something like ‘yes, we believe that under specific circumstances segregated spaces are warranted. We would not support women who believe themselves entitled to use male bathrooms or changing rooms, men-only support groups and shelters, etc.’

I met a woman who owned several Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises in suburban New Orleans but was not allowed to join the Metairie Lions Club due to sex segregation in the charter. She won on the grounds that the social calendar also included several business networking opportuniiies that she was kept from. She never once asked for the key to their restrooms in her pleas, nor did she seek redress including changing in their locker rooms.
Women aren’t the ones making that demand.
What an insufferable prick.
Thank you to Holms and Michael for pointing out that women who were challenging to get into male-only spaces did it because those were places where business contacts were made, orders were written and careers made. And that the women who challenged to get into those spaces did NOT want into the men’s restrooms or locker rooms there.
Such a vicious hatred of women is revealed here — “well, you witches wanted to be in our clubhouses where business careers were made so we should be able to wave our dicks at you in your lockers and restrooms” is just proof of how much some of these men hate us.
