It’s really odd to me that the stupid proceedings continue to get continuances. It’s as thought there is nothing solid to charge her on and they hold over and over just to make her life more difficult.
So, what happened procedurally? Did they arraign her on the charge, take an initial plea, and set a preliminary (probable cause) hearing? Or a trial date? Or did the arraignment not even proceed, because the court has doubts about whether there is even a legitimate charge for her to be arraigned on? Seems like that would be a reason for dismissal, not continuance. The court should have studied up on the charge in preparation for the arraignment calendar.
