I’ve had arguments in the last couple of years with friends who advocate various punishments for “Nazis”. I’ve mentioned that lots of people get called Nazis. “No, no, I’m just talking about real Nazis!” Without a definition. I suspect the definition is “anyone who you find has been accused (to my satisfaction) of being a Nazi”. It’s a label for enemies, one that other people might support punishing, even if they know nothing about the details. Very much like “witch”.
Sackbut: Exactly like religions. Wokeism is a new religion. And its worshippers are ready, no EAGER to damn heathens and especially apostates. At least the damnation in modern Wokeism is only for THIS life, unlike the eternal punishments the Christians and Muslims slobber over.
I really, seriously do not like the Nazis that maintain a spiritual kinship with the NSDAP of Ol’ Germany of the 20th century. Nor any who think like they do and worry about the Rothschilds and international Jewry pulling all the strings.
But I recognize, as we all should, that once we advocate for violence against them for the sake of violence, then we become more and not less like them. Violence to suppress an ideology feels good, but then we also need to realize that once you okay such violence, once you approve of it, you open a gate that allows violence against anybody who can be labeled. Any Other. Like, for example, Terfs,
As an old punk, I can attest to the patch on the left being pretty standard from the anarcho types, and ought not necessarily be interpreted as applying to the people at the conference. It’s a patch one puts on a jacket, and it’s just there. On the right, “Out of the closet and into the pit” warms my heart, taking me back to the old days when gay and lesbian punks made their presence known with compilation 7″ records such as “There’s A Faggot In The Pit” and “There’s A Dyke In The Pit”, and bands like Pansy Division and Team Dresch were making our ears bleed.
HOWEVER: the presence of these punks, with their apparent intent to harass, intimidate, and threaten women? Then punk really fucking sucks, if that’s what it has turned into.

There isn’t a god-shaped hole inside everyone. There isn’t even a religion-shaped hole.
There’s a dickhead-shaped hole.
(I am aware that doesn’t even make any sense. I’m too tired to make it do so)
