There was actually an interesting essay on “history” in Harper’s this month. It touched on CRT, the hysterical conservative response, and the evolution of “leftist” political thought. It ended up expressing some serious reservations about CRT (not from a conservative standpoint, whatever that means), but I thought the article provided some nice context.
