Pence is an appropriate vice president for Trump. Two white men convinced of their own superiority, unwilling to follow rules even while insisting on a “law-and-order” based society, who seek self-aggrandizement and don’t give a flying fig about anyone else.
And he’s doing the elbow-bump thing with the staff and a patient, which means he’s getting closer than six feet.
For the love of… I’m an ‘essential worker’ (ie, I work in freakin’ retail in one of the segments excluded from shutdown orders). Our stores don’t even let people in without masks at this point. This vainglorious asshole is walking around the Mayo freakin’ Clinic without a mask?
Freemage, I wish our stores would do the same. They don’t even have signs up that say “Stay six feet apart” (except for Walgreens, which does). Their one concession to the pandemic was to put tape on the floors at the registers. The aisles are still free from any indication of pandemic, social distancing, or even good manners.
