Ah but their average wealth is well into the millions thanks to Rowling, therefore we can deride them all as rich. And rich people are always bad except when it is Jolyon.

I suppose it’s a matter of distinguishing between by birth and by effort…which can be seen as quite snobbish of him, if you think about it, because it’s how the Upper Classes look at it. “Filthy rich, darling, but vulgar with it.”
Aka class is more than money. One can be skint and posh, and one can be rich and lowly.
Or maybe it’s simply that filthy rich Jolyon doesn’t want to call himself upper class, because he’s such a lefty doncha know.
Steven, it’s sort of like the reverse discrimination cases where people complained because they didn’t get a position reserved for a black person. Yes, it is discrimination. Yes, it is “sexist”. But there is a reason why some positions are reserved for non-white or female people.
Love the snide part about calling JK Rowling “queen” because if there is one thing we radical feminists don’t have is queens, gurus, Beloved Leaders, etc. There is no single leader of any kind of feminism now and the women who might have held that position are either dead (Dworkin) or trying to appease the trans cult (Steinem). Would be great if Greer decided to go out in a blaze of glory but she probably will not. Rowling is too, well, civilized to lead any type of feminist rebellion.
And the old problem of endless infighting and purity tests still plague feminists. Not too mention the fact that very few of us have much money. But Foxkiller there is doing pure projection — he knows there are several trans billionaires on his side but does not want attention of the public to focus on that.
