Such a striking example
It’s making it so obvious how intensely misogynist the trans movement is.
How not to write about domestic abuse, part 234: The Sun's front-page headline in which the first husband of JK Rowling brags about 'slapping' her and says he isn't sorry. Trivialising an assault as 'a slap' is what abusers do – and denies reality for victims.

In the latter half of this week we’ve seen such a striking example of what happens when a woman has the audacity to defend her rights and and speak her truth, the truth of so many.
With a woman of JKR’s prolife, it’s magnified but this happens to individual women all the time.— Dr Karen Ingala Smith (@K_IngalaSmith) June 12, 2020
OJ & bros contributes to a climate of misogyny in the press by liking loads of vile articles about 'TERFS' etc in Prick News but protests misogyny in The Scum? In 40 years of campaigning against male violence I've not seen such hatred of women as now over the JKR statement.

Yes, they really don’t like the Sun exposing the fact that her first husband abused her, because they wanted to be able to pretend that it was all fantasy on her part and they could ignore it – after all, most of the claims of victimhood the TRAs make are fantasy, so they assume everyone else is equally as dishonest as they are.
The classic trans-victim narratives: teenager made homeless by rejecting family, survival ‘sex work,’ abuse-assault-murder by ‘client.’
Notice they don’t involve women, feminists, lesbians. Why doesn’t anyone notice the card trick by which the indignation and fury is directed at the wrong people. How much would even 10% of this fury mean if it were directed at, say, evangelicals or Menz Groups?

Absolutely spot on. The wrong people are being blamed for real violence against trans. I don’t know how they get away with that.
