If he finds it hard to believe, then he is quite naïve. Not doing the basic, common-sense, ethics-exam-gimme thing when it would be potentially detrimental to one’s political standing is the norm for public figures in general and politicians in particular. It’s why hardly anything ever gets done. Yeesh.
Number 1, ain’t that a pisser. Eventually we’ll be number 1 in recovered cases too, so our feckless leader will have something to brag about, not that he isn’t doing that already.
