There’s something about that, when you watch Trump getting pushed around, arrested, tried, jailed there’s something very beautiful about it. I don’t care what anyone says. Revenge is sweet.
How I would love to see it.
Fortunately for Captain Bonespurs, inherited wealth got him his start in life, and he has expendable minions to do the pushing around of others. The danger for Bonespurs is that might dawn gradually on those minions that they have been had, dudded, that the used car they bought has turned out to be a bomb on wheels; and that somehow, driving around in it has not made them ‘great again’.
Therein lies a turning point, and history’s turning points can be rough.
Look at all the maskless people behind him in the video, or what’s worse, wearing them under their noses. The masks are probably handed out with the red hats before the rallies, which is why they are all alike. No blue masks to be seen, all of them have Dipshit’s slogan or name on them. Listening to him spew his bullshit and cheering and chanting like it’s a soccer game. The Deplorables. Go Team.
What does Ilhan Omar have to do with Michigan?
Did he confuse Michigan (“MI”) with Minnesota (“MN”)?
Also Michigan (“up over there somewhere”) with Minnesota (“up over there somewhere”)?
Michigan has one of the largest concentrations of Muslims in the US. Dearborn has the second largest Muslim population among cities. I have vague memories of many stories about Muslims in Michigan, to the point that I was surprised they weren’t at the top of the list. It does not surprise me that it was assumed Ilhan Omar was from a state with a famously high population of Muslims. The similarity in state names and locations make the mistake even easier.
Sackbut, I would think that explanation made sense with anyone else, but it requires you actually know something, and those words (know something) do not fit well in a sentence with “Trump”. So maybe, but maybe not. It could be he heard Minnesota as a state with a large concentration of Muslims and mixed it up with Michigan. He could also just think “ooh, a blue state, so attack Dems”.
I definitely think I don’t want to try to read Trump’s mind; it would be like a horror movie in there. So I’ll accept any reasonable explanation, and maybe a bit of all of the above, coupled with his total ignorance of everything.
