Many of the people in his administration actually want to bring about the end times. Pompeo seems especially keen. Trump doesn’t care about the end times, because he no more believes in God than he believes in charity, mercy, compassion or love.
What Trump does believe in is himself. And whether or not he wants to think about it, he doesn’t have much road left. In his seventies, overweight, unfit, prone to bouts of rage that increase bodily stress, he’ll be very lucky to see eighty (and we’d all be very unlucky, needless to say).
So if the world burns, what does he care? Once he’s gone, the world is desolate and therefore not worth preserving.
Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. I say the world will end in Trump. Unless we find a way to stop him.

Bloody Hell! I had no idea! That bad, eh?
