Ugh, so frustrating. Coming from a hospital it’s appalling.
Someone I follow on Instagram posted some pseudoscience horseshit video about boosting the immune system with some deep heavy breathing the other day. I tore into him HARD, I was furious. Encouraging people to be inhaling deeply and vigorously at a time when if the virus takes root in the deep lungs you could die from your immune system response. I called him Gwyneth Paltrow and he said that was a compliment because she had an open mind.

Yeah, well, her mind sure was open in that movie Contagion.
Aaaaaannnnddd…it’s gone. LOL.
Come to think of it, Goop could be worth a try; but only if all else fails. And I mean everything.
A French crackpot subset of medieval Chinese superstition. With a string of grifters posting below.
‘Boost the immune system’ is right up there with ‘harmonizing “energies,”‘ or maybe ‘balancing humours.’
I prefer a competent immune system over a strong one, myself. I know someone with an autoimmune disease. I don’t recommend it.
Harald Hanche-Olsen, I have autoimmune diseases; and I second your refusal to recommend it.
