How remarkably vague and un-informative the person from Tavistock (not Porlock) was. Regarding the supposedly very small number of people who try to de-transition, I wonder how many of those who having transitioned decide that they do not like it cannot bear the idea of going backwards again through the process to get back to a position they were not in fact in when they started out on transitioning.
I watched the two videos (this one and the one in the previous post) in the same order you did (i.e. reverse order of original transmission) and not only was I struck by the same thing that struck Tim, I was also struck by the change in language used by the programme’s presenters. In the older video above, from last year, the presenter is strictly following Approved Language (‘assigned female gender at birth’); but by the time the programme’s research reaches the stage where this week’s programme could be broadcast, they must have learned a lot. There is no such sop to the trans cult in the above video, just controlled fury at being duped for so long, to the detriment of so many.
I don’t know what the stats are for Tavistock, but for other gender clinics I’ve seen, including Johanna Olson-Kennedy’s at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the rate of drop-out to follow-up is 40-50%. This, I’ve read, is very high, a red flag, and it’s found in many such clinics.
Meaning we simply can’t know the number of detransitioners–or people who regret transitioning but feel there’s no point in trying to undo what’s been done.

Yes. The opposition has been growing and growing and growing, so the duping is becoming less acceptable to more people.
