BREAKING: White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweets that she tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday morning. She said she is experiencing no symptoms and had no knowledge of Hope Hick’s testing positive before her briefing on Thursday https://t.co/SMZJQmT006pic.twitter.com/i8pqn5x48d

She’s working on behalf of the American People®? Who would have thought? I didn’t know working on behalf of the American People® meant lying to them, protecting a corrupt leader who is stealing from them and putting them at risk of an unpleasant death, and in general doing everything he can to destroy the country, especially the poor and minority. Oh, wait, I forgot. Poor and minority are not American People®; they are just here to serve, right?
Damn, I hate these people. I must admit to celebrating, just a little, that so many in the WH are coming down with the disease they claimed for so long was a hoax.
I definitively had no knowledge of Hope Hicks’ diagnosis prior to holding a White House press briefing on Thursday.
She says this to spare herself the blame of doing something that endangers other people, and maybe it is true or maybe it isn’t. But what strikes me is what this reveals if true: no internal communication that a member of staff had tested positive for a highly contagious virus. She doesn’t reduce blame in saying this, she only passes it on to someone else.
