A democratic emergency
This is it.

Trump opens his news conference by saying "if you count the legal vote, I easily win. If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us." This is a lie. There is no evidence of election fraud. pic.twitter.com/BAVSazAmLr

"It's going to end up, perhaps, at the highest court of the land" — Trump is really gonna try and steal this election. If he succeeds the US will no longer be a democracy. pic.twitter.com/gHp0B0ypjJ

"As you know, I've claimed certain states," Trump says, as though calling dibs means he's won. He then walks off without taking any questions. pic.twitter.com/q0V2bIhipY

Love the final question by a reporter at the end of the last clip: Are you just being a sore loser?
Trump seems to be a tad deflated, doesn’t he?
God I cannot stand his sing-song presentation, even before we get to the emptiness of his ideas and all the lies.
He’s mad because it doesn’t look like Republican leadership is going to step in and help. Why should they? It’s more or less been a perfect election for them.
BKiSA, I’d have thought that the last four years have been perfect for them, having the useful idiot getting all the attention and leaving their own doings largely unnoticed and unreported. They must know that the election is a lost cause because otherwise they’d be fighting tooth and nail for the chance of another four years of getting it all their own way. They may retain control of the Senate, but with no Trump to distract everybody they will at least come back under some kind of scrutiny.
AoS, I have thought that from the beginning. Trump is like the rodeo clown that distracts. I almost never saw news about what Congress was doing; it was Trump 24./7 for five years.
He needs to go away even if only for that reason, and for the reason that a steady diet of Trump is bad for our health – individually and collectively.
