It gets worse. (It always does, doesn’t it.)
SCOOP: Park Service has diverted $2.5 million in fees –normally used to improve parks around the country — for Trump's July Fourth extravaganza as White House hands out VIP tickets to donors and Trump's campaign staff, W/@jdawsey1 and @DanLamothe https://t.co/zRsCtifxrW

$2.5 million stolen from the National Parks so that Trump can say LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME. And reward donors on our dime instead of his.
This is an absolutely abhorrent waste of taxpayer money. Our nation’s troops should not be used as political props and our national parks should not be co-opted to please @realDonaldTrump. https://t.co/bF6gRdM9o9

Our national parks belong to every American. Trump is raiding funds meant to improve our cherished lands and wasting them on this ludicrous vanity parade. https://t.co/n5uuyPZQIj

Tanks in the streets, plus diverting resources for a politicized rally that is supposed to celebrate the United States, not him. And this comes after several National Parks suffered serious damage when Trump decided to force a government shutdown. https://t.co/Kgb88gV1Tg

The National Park Service is diverting $2.5 million, which is collected by entrance fees to pay for improvements at parks nationwide, to fund Trump's July 4 spectacle — to which his political donors get VIP tickets, via @eilperin @jdawsey1 & @DanLamothe https://t.co/nh7UbGtDN4

Well, it’s no secret that Republicans are always attempting to defund the national Parks. Trump found a way to do that to his benefit.
I would rather have mountain lions than Trumps in the White House.
iknklast, mountain lions are beautiful, magnificent creatures. Please don’t demean them by comparing them to Trumps.
Yes, of course. I meant to point out that I would rather have parks in general than a military parade. Any insult to mountain lions was totally unintentional. They are glorious creatures – something you could say about no Trump.
I wouldn’t object to a dozen hungry mountain lions being released into the White House when the Trumps are home.
On a side note, I was reading a piece yesterday (I forget where) about little Eric’s tweet claiming that Obama refused to go to N. Korea to meet with Kim Yong-un in 2008 (it was quickly pointed out that neither Kim Yong-un nor Obama were in power in 2008). Anyway, in the article it was stated that Eric is widely acknowledged as ‘the stupid one of the family’! That’s an insult if ever I saw one. It’s like being called ‘the vain one’ of the Kardashians, or ‘the drunk’ of the AA group.
