Like any true Oregonian, I feel for those who don’t live in the PNW – but hope they never move here….;)
To be fair, sunsets like this are not an every day thing. This one was an absolute record-breaker.
Kitsap looks set to be engulfed by a wall of lava. Glorious picture.
We get some stunning sunsets here in the midwest, too, but there is no water to mirror them (except some smallish lakes).
Really pretty. Very reminiscent of our sunsets.
Yes, the water mirroring amplifies them like crazy. Your whole field of vision can be hot purple-orange-pink apart from the blue band of the mountains.
That is enviable, and I live in the southwest, high desert, where we get a fair share of sun rise and sun set delights.
