Yeah, on international women’s day, CBS are celebrating a trans woman, rather than the achievements of a natal woman. And a trans woman who picks shit fights and denigrates women who have been feminist heroes and who have done more for women and lesbians than McKinnon ever will. Great.

Rob, now you’re just being silly. What natal woman could possibly have accomplished as much as Rachel McKinnon? Not Martina, right? Not Serena Williams. Not Hillary Clinton. Not Barbara McClintock. Not…I could go on, but I can’t stand it anymore.
It’s not like women have been oppressed for their sex sinse prior to industrialisation and that trans women taking opportunities for natal women is a continuation of such. Oh no. Not at all. Not even a little.
thewatersfine – but transwomen have been more oppressed, the mostest oppressed, and it is the natal women who are the mostest oppressing them, because the natal women insist that the word woman means something. And we insist on having our own spaces because we pretend that men have been oppressing us and abusing us, but that just means we are hypocrites, because we have been claiming that there are no differences between men and women! (You didn’t think we were claiming that? Well, a lot of folks say we have, and if you say it, it’s true, right? Unless you are a radical feminist who happened to be born a woman).
Natal women have oppressed everyone – men. minorities. transwomen. transmen. children. creationists .dogs. cats. bacteria. EVERYONE! So what if we were a little, tiny bit oppressed once upon a time? We have all the power now, and we use it to do harm to others…
At least that appears to be the message of the day.
In the spirit of Inclusion, I thought it was supposed to be International Womxn’s Day. We wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, would we? That would be Exclusionary, which, I’m told, is Bad (never mind that, historically, women have been excluded from just about everything they could be kept out of, that’s all in the PAST, and water under the bridge, and let bygones be bygones and don’t play the victim card, what about International Men’s Day, and things are so much better now, aren’t they Dear Muslima?). Let’s let Everyone take part.

Why not just call it a Day?
Well, everyone except natal women.
