Flatterers
The Mirror doesn’t mess around.
Racist American President Donald Trump has endorsed Boris Johnson, praised Nigel Farage and attacked Jeremy Corbyn.
The bumbling bigot waded into the British election just hours after Mr Corbyn warned that Tory trade plans would see sections of the NHS auctioned off to American companies.
The US leader, who caged children on the American border before sending them to detention camps, told Nigel Farage that he believed that Mr Johnson was “the right man for the times”.
Ok but tell us what you really think.
Earlier today, Mr Trump was told impeachment proceedings into allegations he withheld aid to Ukraine, to try and bounce them into investigating potentially politically embarrassing allegations against Jo Biden’s son, would go ahead.
So obviously Mr Trump took time to attack the Labour leader.
Guy’s gotta have a hobby, right?
Donald Trump is a man of high principle, the high principle being ‘do whatever maximises the day’s take’: financially, politically… What’s the difference anyway.?
I should imagine that Corbyn is delighted at the attention! And Johnson not very happy at all with being publicly supported by Trump, particularly in connexion with Farage.
It’s difficult not to disparage
Nigel Farage.
And why wasn’t Boris
Born a pygmy slow loris?
I’m no admirer of Corbyn after his fence-sitting tactics throughout, and wish Keir Starmer was leading the Opposition (he is very good). But were I able to, I’d definitely vote Labour.
@2: this time, I think the equation is quite simple. If your MP is currently a Tory, vote for whoever came second in 2017. Otherwise, vote for the incumbent. At least Corbyn has committed himself to a confirmatory vote (probably the best we could expect, given his historic antipathy to the EU).
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go find the ditch that Johnson is lying dead in so that I can piss in it.
Trump attacking someone is pretty much an endorsement of that person.
Trump’s non-endorsement of Corbyn is a fillip for the old 70s throwback.
@Omar
I don’t think that’s his high principle, mainly because he’s so bad at maximising the day’s take politically or financially. I mean, before he was president he was an absolutely lousy businessman and as president he keeps taking steps that alienate America’s allies and strengthen America’s enemies.
I think his high principle is his own image. He is like Grenfell Towers made flesh, a cheap facade that’s bound to end in tragedy.
