Your Time is running out
The NRA decided it would be a good time to threaten us all.
“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents…Your Time is running out. The clock starts now."

We’re supposed to report people who make threats, right? So that the system will work the way it’s supposed to, and people who make threats will be instantly and magically prevented from shooting up a school, and there will be no need to ban the sale of assault weapons.
“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents, to the politicians who would rather watch America burn than lose one ounce of their own personal power, to the late-night hosts who think their opinions are the only opinions that matter…,” Loesch says against a backing track of ominous music. “…your time is running out.”
Before she opens fire.
“… to the politicians who would rather watch America burn than lose one ounce of their own personal power…”
So she’s threatening Trump and congressional Republicans?
I wouldn’t be so sure of that. They aren’t watching it burn, they’re lighting the fire.
So little time, so many Sanders …
That is…extraordinary. I imagine it doesn’t get captured by ‘true threat’ because it itsn’t directed at anyone specific and no one is alleging that the NRA employees themselves are about to kill anyone. Hence political speech and protected. But given the irrational and outright unhinged behaviour of some NRA supporters, this is more than concerning. In a (cough) less enlightened country, this could see official interest.
The written version sounded somewhat ominous and threatening, but in the context of the video ad, where it is made clear with a graphic that their time is up because she’s getting her own show, it more comes across as cheesy bravado.
Glad to see the NRA is taking a stand against athletes who don’t use their free speech properly, because that totally fits in with responsible gun ownership somehow I’m sure.
A couple of days John Oliver ran a bit about NRATV, the belligerence and unhinged violence are beyond satire. These people are CRAZY, we do not need to ‘listen to their concerns’ or sing kumbaya with them.
