He actually said that.
WATCH: During an event with Team USA Olympians and Paralympians at the White House, President Trump said, "What happened with the Paralympics was so incredible and so inspiring to me. And I watched — it's a little tough to watch too much, but I watched as much as I could." pic.twitter.com/geYUUu9vmg

The most charitable explanation of that is that Trump has the attention span of a toddler. But….there are other interpretations that also come to mind.
“…it’s a little tough to watch too much…”
Pretty much my own thoughts about watching him.
He’s unlikely to mean it’s tough to watch tv for that long because he watches Fox for hours on end. I think the obvious meaning is the correct one.
He’s also made a veiled threat to any country that dare make a rival bid to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup:
“It would be a shame if anything happened to that nice country you have.”
2026?!??!! Does Trump think that he will still be alive?
Good grief, AoS, the man thinks the presidency of the US is the same thing as being a mob boss!
As for the OP, I noticed the way he turned to the people around him, looking for validation of his views that disabled athletes are hard to watch, and that smug Pence gave it to him. Grrrrr…
Of course it is tough for him to watch some program that is not centered on him.

I know, I know, but this time I’m not sure Trump was being a shitbag. I think he meant he wasn’t able to watch more, not that he was bored or unimpressed. Because right before the part quoted above, he sad, “What happened with the Paralympics was so incredible and so inspiring to me.” Of course he’s a horrible, dangerous dope, but I think he was just saying he was too busy to watch much of the Paralympics.
Oops. The part I mentioned is in the quote above. I guess I wasn’t exactly dropping truth bombs here.
It’s pretty typical of Trump to say the thing he knows he’s supposed to say and then immediately say something that cancels it out or undercuts it or reveals that he didn’t mean it for a second.
