Menstruators, folks with uteruses, etc
We live in strange times.

A woman, bragging about writing a book on menstruation that rarely mentions women, as if that’s something to be proud of.

That’s not satire?
Nope.
So are men now going to be known as penis-havers? People with testes? Non-uterus having persons? Ejaculators?
No? I didn’t think so.
What circumstances would “definitely apply”?
iknklast, a trans woman may also be a penis-and-testes-haver (though some think that the male genitalia magically transforms into female genitalia when the super-spell ‘I am woman’ is uttered) and a trans man may have female genitalia (same conditions as per magic applies). They won’t be happy until the use of ‘cis’ for those freaks who are quite happy with the gender they were born with is enshrined in law.
Yeah, but that sort of leaves those of us who no longer menstruate or have a uterus sort of in limbo, right? So what am I? Granny is not only offensive but inaccurate, since I am not a grandmother. I guess I’ll just have to accept “b**ch” or “c**t”, right? Of course, that’s only when someone deigns to notice me at all since I am over 50, and therefore not even worthy of existence anymore. I am merely to be noticed when I am in the way of some man or transwoman who wishes to be where I am, and has to expend the effort to shove me out of the way…
1. Reduce everyone, except trans-identified persons (TIP), to an aspect of their biology.
2. TIP are not to be referred to with respect to any aspect of their biology (or socialisation likely associated with that biology), although a TIP individual may choose to refer to themselves in that way.
3. Women may be referred to as such if the prefix ‘cis’ is used. A woman is allowed to self-identify as ‘cis’, if she does not she may be coercively assigned as such by any other person. This allows linkage of female biology with ‘cis-privilege’ and with expectations of female behaviour based on gendered sex stereotypes.
4. TIP, but not others, are allowed to self refer as ‘men’ or ‘women’ without being considered to exclude others and their particular experiences and needs.
Are those the rules? Are there any more?
Can anyone tell me who the majority of menstruators are, if only a minority are women?

I would add another rule, perhaps…
0. Disagreement with any item on this list of rules makes one a heinous bigot that is knowingly and therefore intentionally participating in the violent genocide of all TIPs, even if they don’t know it.
Corollary: men exempt.
Other than that, I prostate myself upon your wisdom…

TO THE GULAG WITH YOU oh wait I recall that you are a man, never mind.
Gender activists:
“Using the word ‘women’ is exclusionary towards trans women!”
Also gender activists:
“Trans women ARE women!”
Everyone else:
“But you said that using the word ‘women’ is exclusionary towards trans women!”
And round and round we go.
Oh, you’ve noticed that too, ttw? It seems to me that with every fresh, increasingly daft and confusing announcement (like the missive from the good Dr. above; can’t you just hear the smug glee in that tweet?) the activists and their sycophants are rapidly becoming a caricature of themselves.
Might be a long wait.
No, it’s exclusionary to trans men. Who are men! That’s why how dare you use the word “women” when what you mean is “people who menstruate!” Edumacate yerself, you bigot.
;)
