In a dark place
Trump & Republican Congress have done everything they possibly can to make sure that today's mass murderer of Jews was the best equipped mass murderer he could be.

So, America, perhaps the greatest danger we face is not a caravan 1000 miles away.
Maybe it’s already here.— Charlie Sykes (@SykesCharlie) October 27, 2018
I met the Holocaust survivor who became my 'aunt' at the Tree of Life synagogue 25 years ago. Today I called to make sure she was still alive. "All day have been thinking about when they killed my family in the synagogue in Vilna," she said. That was before the Holocaust started.

Pittsburgh suspect blamed Jews for helping “invaders” in migrant caravans. In his final post on https://t.co/0QTmmz1svu, Bowers said “I can't sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics, I'm going in.”

We grieve for the Americans murdered in Pittsburgh. All of us have to fight the rise of anti-Semitism and hateful rhetoric against those who look, love, or pray differently. And we have to stop making it so easy for those who want to harm the innocent to get their hands on a gun.

What do people think this caravan is?! Do they think all these refugees are secret agents who are going to parkour their way across the border and infiltrate America?
Why do some people find it so easy to vilify people for their own gain? Why do others find it so easy to believe the lies?
Many people are trained this way from birth. I was trained to believe the lies, but for some reason, it never took. I feel fortunate that I learned so little from my family.
‘my people get slaughtered’
Really? By refugees from Guatemala, or by Jewish congregation in Pittsburgh?
Taking a breath, there’s an obvious parallel to the massacre of trans-women by lesbians.
Manufactured grievance escalated to violence.
