It turns out it’s to oppose the government to the extent that it’s liberal or left-wing. When the government is semi-fascist and very right-wing, then the argument for guns is to oppose its dissenters.

I thought that the argument for guns was to oppose the government and tyranny. Shouldn’t the NRA be cheering the protests on?
