Why do I feel that the right to bear arms and the right to bear children are mutually exclusive?
Well, because if it was commutative, children would have the exclusive right to arm bears?
That would make hunting season a little less one-sided, I suppose..
Seriously though, if you have children, don’t have guns; if you have guns, don’t have children. Or just don’t have guns full stop.
I don’t think this is anything unusual. You just don’t see it reported most of the time.
After–uhhh, I think–Sandy Hook, there were a couple of bloggers who starred doing a weekly roundup of these kind of accidental shootings. They were reporting ~50 incidents per week, week after week. I stopped reading them after a few weeks. The grim monotony was more than I could take.
Guns don’t kill people. Toddlers kill people.
