Twinned With
Now, this is nice. At least, I like it. It’s the Amazon page for that book, but the nice thing is that it’s paired with a book by Dawkins. Good company they’ve put us in. (Yes, of course I check, why do you ask? And the answer is no; hasn’t sold a copy in days, or is it weeks.)
So why didn’t I even know you’d written that book? It looks interesting — do more plugs!
(hmm, there it is, proudly displayed on the B&W main page…maybe the problem is that I usually get here via RSS.)
Aha, a tragic flaw in the crafty advertising strategy. A lot of people get here via RSS.
Do more plugs?? Well…if you’re sure!
I’ll tell someone to tell publisher to send you a copy. You can leave it on the coffee table when you have a party again!
Just bought the book – greatly looking forward to reading it. However, I was a bit put off by the sans serif font used for the main text. Not only is it much more difficult to read a sans serif face, it also has the effect of making the book look like one of those cheapy self-published efforts. Something that will only be heightened if you use the same font for the paperback edition.
It’s a quibble, I know… but it does make a difference.
Ah. Oh dear. It’s not a quibble – font does make a difference. But I assume the font is the publisher’s decision. What Philosophers Think is also sans serif.
