Catching Up with Jesus and Mo
Hmph. I’ve been too busy lately – I’ve missed some great Jesus and Moze (it’s hard to make a plural Jesus and Mo in writing). Such as this one. Haw. What’s he going to do, sit on us? Haw!
And this one. I love the barmaid. Can I play the barmaid in the movie? Can I, huh, huh? I’d be perfect.
And this one. Catchy. Violent, and catchy.
And this one. ‘That laws-of-physics-defying explanation never even occurred to me.’ Try to keep up, Mo.
And the niqab one is brilliant. Oh, Mo, I feel so liberated.
The dead tree editions have solved about half my christmas shopping problems already.
They are really good, aren’t they? I have lots of favourites, but I think top of the list at the moment is the one that takes the piss – or beer – out of the ontological argument.
They are indeed.
Don…Do I understand you to say that Why Truth Matters has not solved half your xmas shopping problems already?
Yo, Ganesh, go sit on Don!
OB, I think you could play the barmaid in this one. :)
Why thank you, R. I do love hanging out by the urinals. snerk.
Uh, that’s the other half!
(phew)
I so glad that people are enjoying Jesus and Mo. It is also pleasing that the highly intelligent readers of B&W have noticed that the dead tree versions do indeed make ideal xmas presents (as does WTM, of course, which I own, have read, and warmly recommend).
As for OB playing the part of the barmaid in the movie – she would be ideal. But I’m just the writer and the final casting decision lies with the director. I’ll have a word with Wim – I’m sure he’ll be amenable.
Coincidentally, it’s a little known fact that the barmaid’s name is actually Ophelia. Not that she would ever be so informal as to reveal that to Jesus or Mo. She is friendly, but she likes to keep her distance.
Thanks for your support!
Awwwwww – thanks back, jmo. Especially for barmaid thing.
Yo, Wim! Wie geht’s? Shall I send you my portfolio? (Yeah like I really have one.)
Any hope of the JesusandMo cartoons being forcibly fed to a muslim audience or country?
G,
Nuke Mecca. Forcibly fed.
Always an interesting contribution to the debate. I’m so glad you’re on my side.
Why have I failed to notice Islamofascists and Christian loonies bleating about these wonderful cartoons? If they haven’t been bleating, is that because the cartoons hit the mark with unerring accuracy, and are very funny, and the Islamofascists and Christian loonies don’t want to publicise them?
It is a hell of a puzzle, isn’t it. Could that be why? Or maybe the presence of both cancels out the ‘offence’? Anyway we’ll never know – it’s the dog that didn’t bark in the night, or the black swan that never turned up.
And what makes them lovely is that even i can look at them- but I’m dreading the day when it they will be filtered out…
