His Majesty’s Dog at Kew
I saw about fifteen minutes of a thing on tv last night about the Chihuly glass exhibition at Kew. It made me long to be in London and be able to go see it. Really long. Any of you been?
I love – really love – the Palm House and the Temperate House anyway. And with – well, look.
And look. You can see why I want to go.
All of you who can, go, and take pictures, and send them to me for Xmas. Have fun, now.
Amazing. I’ve spent enough on art glass that my favorite shoppe now gives me 15% discounts, so I really appreciate this link Ophelia!
Isn’t it great?
Only there until January 15th, all. Book your tickets.
“One of the most inspiring places on the Planet.”
Really. It’s one of my very favourite places on the planet. I have a tendency to feel almost deranged with bliss when I go there. I bet the Chihuly glass would push me over the edge – there would be this American wandering around babbling and shrieking in an incoherent manner.
Really beautiful. I highly recommend watching the video. Next best thing to being there.
How about Flickr, G? Geoff Coupe told me to remember Flickr – which in fact I hadn’t looked at before. It looks as if one can send pictures there – so you could send them there and then I could link to them.
I might suggest that to Mick. This picture I have on my desktop is just so entrancing…everyone should be able to have it. I’m startled every time I minimize a window and it pops out at me again.
I didn’t know that about the geckoes – how lovely. Geckoes are cool. (So are English Robins – American ones are much uglier.)
