And fairness?
As Skeletor mentioned in Miscellany Room, Caitlyn Jenner got something right for a change.
Guess who doesn’t approve.

Well, there goes the TIM vote. “Progressive” types are now free to bash away with impunity. Heretic! Blasphemer!
I truly have no idea how Jenner expects to win this. The left will generally be highly reluctant to vote for someone that ever supported Trump, and this tweet – true though it is – just banished any lingering support there might have been for being trans. And the right thinks trans people are freaks, offences against god, paedophiles etc. etc. so they were never on board. Is it a pure vanity bid?
A person might be forgiven for thinking Trump’s win stands as proof that literally any American over 35 can, because he won despite being a greedy authoritarian moron racist misogynist, but that would be a misunderstanding of Trump’s voters. He won specifically because he is a greedy authoritarian moron racist misogynist, making him a perfect match for the America’s deplorables. Finally, a person that was openly one of them!

Ah, and Fallon Fox, the brazen MMA cheat who brags about beating women up. “Don’t you know how testosterone blockers work?” – priceless. Reducing T only has an effect on muscle mass, and leaves aside all the other combat-relevant advantages the male body has. Even when accounting for height/size, males still have greater lung volume, heart volume, blood volume, and even red blood cell count per mL of blood. This obviously grants a considerably higher oxygen availability, and greater capacity to recharge after oxygen has been depleted. And since this one is built in to the skeletal shape – the increased space within the ribcage is why the heart and lungs can be larger at the same height – T reduction does nothing to change it.
Worse, T blocking does not even equalise muscle mass! The lead in muscle mass shrinks, but is not eliminated. The only equalising effect T blocking has at all, and it doesn’t work completely.
I mean, Fallon Fox has pink hair, though. How can you argue with that? Checkmate, atheists! Wait. I mean checkmate, transphobia! Yeah, that’s the ticket.
‘And the right thinks trans people are freaks, offences against god, paedophiles etc. etc.’
I’m not entirely sure this is true, given the impassioned videos of conservative/Evangelical parents about their beautiful amazing ‘trans’ kids, of both sexes. ‘Once I understood that my kid was actually trans, I stopped punishing her/him for exhibiting behaviours inappropriate to the gender I erroneously believed her/him to be.’ Though I don’t know how this valorisation of ‘trans’ kids translates into support for TIMs–it may or may not, but it does seem that right wingers respect naked power and there’s little that more clearly demonstrates an exercise of naked power than a grown-ass man forcing everyone to call him ‘her’ and tell him how beautiful he is.
The real problem with the video is that Bruce is climbing into another massive SUV, and obviously intends to put more people’s lives at risk with his homicidal driving. Who really cares what the stupid shit thinks. Chasio?
We’ve forgotten the last Republican recall campaign in California. Gray Davis, and Justice Rose Bird, were unpopular with Big Money. The recall was fueled by death penalty fans whipping up a frenzy against Bird. With minimal turnout, the GOP was able to overturn an elected state government and insert Arnold into the capitol. We going to see more of these as the blackshirt party flexes its muscles.
The “born in the wrong body” trope works well with mind/body dualism, something most conservatives passionately believe in because of souls. They also believe in natural genders. Some of the most regressive countries prefer transition to homosexuality.
So it really wouldn’t take much for “God wouldn’t put the wrong gender in a body” to flip into “the mistake is due to the fallen nature of the sinful world.” My guess is the main thing holding it back is that trans ideology is associated with the libtards. Had it first been presented by neutral sources, conservatives would have latched on to it and liberals would now see it as another manifestation of the religious mindset.
